The majority of the work that gets done at the Plowshare Center and Gift Shop is by volunteers, and we need your help! Below is a list of great ways that you can get involved and share your talents. Let us know what you can do by calling (262) 547-5188.

Gift Shop: Cashier, unpack merchandise, interact with customers and set up displays.

Offsites: Pack and display merchandise, cashier, work with customers, inform people of the mission and invite them to become members and volunteers. We are greatly in need of volunteers during the holiday season. Off-sites are limited to the greater Milwaukee area, and you may work as few or as many hours as you'd like. Almost all our off-site commitments are for Friday, Saturday and/or Sunday.

Work with mailings: Shop advertisements, newsletters, special events

Speakers Bureau: Become a member, and speak to organizations, churches, and other groups about the Plowshare Center and how to get involved

Assist at special events: Conferences, forums, classes; help plan and implement events that are relevant to the Plowshare mission

Annual Party For Peace: The list of committees for this event include: publicity, live and silent auctions, entertainment, food, and facility

Plowshare Committees: Become an active member on one of the four committees; finance, fund development, membership, education
