Plowshare is 100% Fair Trade. Our mission is to, “Make Peace Relevant to the World Around Us”, and we do this in a number of ways. Our gift shop provides a venue for third world artisans and ensures them a fair wage for their work. We take our products “on the road” for sales and programs at churches, schools, conferences, fairs or other events as well. We also provide educational opportunities throughout the year that are focused on peace issues. The occasional Friday Forums are a chance for people to listen to speakers on timely issues; come participate.

Lively Gifts

for Livelihoods

Every item in Plowshare Gift's fair trade store is lovingly hand-crafted by artisans in over 30 developing nations of Asia, Africa and the Americas.

Each piece is made from natural materials, reflecting the country in which it was made.

Every time you purchase a gift from Plowshare Gifts, you are giving the gift of true support to each artisan and his or her family.

A fair wage is paid directly to the artisan, which allows them to obtain their basic needs: food, health care and education.
