Plowshare Gifts is a non-profit fair trade clothing and handicraft shop

Plowshare Center's mission is to, “Make Peace Relevant to the World Around Us”, and we do this in a number of ways. Our gift shop, Plowshare Gifts, provides a venue for artisans from over 30 developing nations of Asia, Africa and the Americas, and ensures them a fair wage for their work.

We also provide educational opportunities throughout the year that are focused on peace issues. The occasional Friday Forums are a chance for people to listen to speakers on timely issues; come participate.

- Every item in Plowshare Gift's fair trade store is lovingly hand-crafted by artisans in over 30 developing nations of Asia, Africa and the Americas.
- Each piece is made from natural materials, reflecting the country in which it was made.
- Every time you purchase a gift from Plowshare Gifts, you are giving the gift of true support to each artisan and his or her family.
- A fair wage is paid directly to the artisan, which allows them to obtain their basic needs: food, health care and education.

Monday-Friday 12-5 and Saturday 10-5. Sunday - Closed

April-December*:
Monday-Friday 11-6 and Saturday 10-5. Sunday - Closed
